- Your thoughts on the total package (flight, hotel, match ticket) - amazing, a whole lot more than we cold have ever expected.
- The atmosphere you experienced in the stadium during the match.- the atmosphere was amazing at the game, although I was a little disappointed that smoking was allowed in the ground during the game.
- The ease of a total package - easiest package break I've ever used, these guys know what they're doing.
- The service you received from representatives of FootballBreak.co.uk - first class without a hitch.
- Did you enjoy the city you visited? - Had an amazing couple of days in Madrid, use the public metro, very easy to use.
Do a little bit of investigating on line before getting there, understand public transport and location. It helped a lot to be able to walk to and from the Stadium from the Hotel.
Everything went as smooth as possible and we couldn't have wished for a better experience. The flight, hotel and the match itself were all amazing, as was Barcelona itself. We'll definitely be booking again using FootballBreak.co.uk. The atmosphere in the Camp Nou is something that I will never, ever forget.
Sit back, relax and enjoy yourselves. It really is THAT simple!
Usually when booking to travel to a football match break we would put the package (flights hotel and tickets) together ourselves. If I’m being honest, there was always a nagging doubt somewhere in our minds that something would go wrong or not work out just as planned with booking this break, and using Footballbreak.co.uk for the first time. We needn’t have worried. The whole experience from start to finish was effortless, and any queries via email were responded to within the hour. Flight check in with Ryanair- easy, just fill in the details footballbreak sent. Hotel, again handed over the voucher and all sorted. Our main concern was were the tickets actually going to be there (the Barca v Athletico match had a 4pm kick off and we arrived at the hotel around 11am). Again, no worries, they were presented to us on arrival. Our hotel (U232), was a little further out than originally thought, but soon realised the easiest way round the city is jump on and off the underground, and the metro station was approx. 150 yards from the hotel front door. 2 day travel pass was 14 euro- money well spent.Made our way to the Nou camp (via a couple of bars…) and enjoyed a fantastic game with an unbelievable atmosphere. Then had all day Sunday to relax around Barcelona and sample the excellent bars and restaurants (highly recommend Meet Restaurente). Excellent trip, excellent service from Footballbreak, and a fantastic city in which to spend a weekend and enjoy a match. Already planning the next trip with Footballbreak.co.uk- what fantastic value for money
Metro is the way to travel!
Everything was very slick and worked to plan. I was expected at the hotel and vouchers worked well with the flights. Match day was great - largest crowd I have been in at a game - and Barcelona staff were helpful. Was pleasantly surprised by my seat which gave a very good view from behind the goal. Football Break representatives helpful in advance though did not need during my stay. As a first time visitor to the Camp Nou for a game it was the right decision to go with an inclusive package. Barcelona is a great city and I look forward to returning soon.
Do your research. It is helpful to know the best way to get from the airport to the city. I used the train and bought a T10 ticket which covers ten journeys on the train, metro and bus.
This was booked for a X-mas present, we have never been abroad for football before. The whole package exceeded our expectations. Excellent service. Will definitely use this company again for future trips.
Make sure that you do the stadium tour, well worth the money .
